Ore Handling

Altek Simulations performs engineering analyses of ore handling equipment from the face through processing and shipping. We simulate mining equipment to verify throughput capacity and to minimize congestion. Our analysis of an underground mining operation in southwest Wyoming produced the optimum locations and capacity for additional storage, which was used to maximize the throughput capabilities of a two hoist system. Using these simulation models we are able to quantify the advantages of one design over another. |
